Bow Quest runs on Windows PCs as well as on phones and tablets. The Windows version has the same game, the same pieces and the same account as the mobile versions, so a child can practise on the family computer and continue on a tablet.
What you need
- A PC with 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 (Intel or AMD processor)
- A microphone: the one built into a laptop is fine, or any USB or headset microphone
- Loudspeakers or headphones for the metronome and the piano accompaniment
- A real violin or viola
Installing and updating
Run the installer and follow the steps. The app checks for updates when it starts and installs them by itself, so you always have the latest pieces and features.
If Windows asks whether to allow the app to use the microphone, answer yes: the game listens to your playing to score it. No audio is recorded or sent anywhere, see the privacy policy.
Mac
A macOS version is coming later. Until then, Mac households can use an iPhone or iPad. If you would like to hear when the Mac version is out, write to info@tadadaa.com.
